What is an Integrated Report?

The Board of Trustees has adopted the principles of the King Report on Governance (King III). In terms of this report organisations are required to provide more extended reporting than that provided in the past. In addition to the report of the auditors of the Scheme and the annual financial statements, the Report of the Board of Trustees must now also include a sustainability report in which Profmed is required to report on its contribution to environmental sustainability and social responsibility. This extended reporting is now referred to as the Integrated Report and no longer the Annual Report. Profmed is proud to be one of the first medical schemes in South Africa to present an Integrated Report to its members.

Hard copies of the Integrated Report can be obtained from the client walk-in centres situated at Block D, Corporate Office Park 66, cnr Von Willigh & Lenchen Avenues, Die Hoewes, Centurion, and 6 Anerley Road, Parktown in Johannesburg.
